What counts as reading?
The Teen summer reading program counts the hours that you read. You need to read 24 hours to complete the summer reading program. That’s only 20 minutes a day!
This way it is a little more fair with the people taking their time reading Dune and the people whipping through ALL the manga books. You are free to choose whichever materials you would like to read. Any of this counts:
- Traditional print books you can hold in your hands
- eBooks on a Kindle, Chromebook, phone
- Comic books, also known as graphic novels
- Audiobooks
- Articles (newspapers, magazines)
