Early Vote for a Volunteer Hour
Email a photo with your “I Voted” sticker to teen@aapld.org
Monday March 27th – Friday, March 31st
Did you know that four spots on the District 300 School Board are up for election this spring? Help decide the future for your younger siblings and friends! If you are 18 years old and a registered voter who lives in McHenry County, you can vote early at the Algonquin Area Public Library’s Harnish building (behind JHS) on weekdays during your Spring Break from 9:00am-4:30pm. Find all your local voter information here. Click here for a sample ballot — all you need to do is enter in your home address and it will automatically generate a sample of what questions your ballot will ask. Note: During early voting, literally any registered voters in the county can vote here. It’s on election day proper (4/4/23) that you have to go to a very specific location.
